Sunday Morning FAQs
What should I wear?
You will see people wearing shorts and sandals greeting others in dresses and heels. Suits and ties are welcome, but so are sweatpants and tennis shoes. In other words, wear what you are comfortable wearing, and we'll be glad to see you.

How will I know where to go?
There are two main entrances to our building, one off the East and one off the West parking lots. Both are marked by two double doors. Go in whichever is closest to where you parked. Once inside, there will be people with lanyard tags that say "Ask Me". Tell anyone wearing one of those tags that it's your first time visiting. They will be glad to help! They can take you to our Connections desk (where we have a gift for you as a first-time visitor, as well as many helpful resources), to the sanctuary for services, or to a small group for Bible study.
What do Edgewood's worship services look like?
First off, individuals and families of all ages are welcome at both services! We usually begin with a welcome from the stage and a prayer for God to direct our time together. We then spend fifteen to twenty minutes singing (both hymns and praise songs) that celebrate who God is and what He has done. There is usually an offering time designed for those who call Edgewood their church home to worship through giving. We always have a message from the Word of God delivered by one of our pastors or a guest preacher. After the message, there is a time of response, usually accompanied by a song, during which individuals can pray, talk to a pastor, or sing along. We also have various other pieces occasionally in our services, like testimonies, mission team reports, and baptisms.
We'd love to have you visit!

What about Sunday morning small groups?
One of the key things about Edgewood is that we are committed to building authentic relationships with one another. That rarely happens in a room with a stage. Instead, we provide many opportunities for folks to live life together, to develop deep connections through shared experiences, and grow together by studying the Word and praying for one another. Our Sunday morning small groups meet on campus at 2300 Cadiz Road. We have groups for children, students, and adults at 9:00AM and 10:30AM (We also have one adult group that meets at 8:00). Our adult groups come in a variety of configurations, from gender or age-specific to intergenerational and couples classes. We'd be glad to help you find a group to try, even if it's your first Sunday...just stop by the Connections Desk in the foyer!
What about childcare?
Alongside our 9:00AM & 10:30AM small groups and worship services for all ages, we offer childcare for babies - 5 years old (we do not currently have childcare for our 8:00 small group). All of our childcare workers and volunteers are background checked and supervised, and our childcare hall is secured with limited-access doors and strict check-in and check-out procedures. If you are attending with children, we encourage you to park and enter on the West side of our building. When you enter through the main doors on that side, you will see the Edgewood Kids Check-in Desk. A volunteer will be there who would be glad to help you check your child in and answer any questions you may have.
